POTW

So.

I was away for my POTW and right after my To: ShengSheng post I had to get off so... I didn't get to do POTW.

So I'm doing it now.

The Pokémon of the week is.......

INFERNAPE!

Infernape is the highest evolved form of Chimchar, one of the starters in the Sinnoh region in D/P. Infernape is the 'flame Pokémon' and its unique combination of types, fire and fighting, (even though Blaziken has these types, Infernape is the only Pokémon that can be obtained before beating the Elite Four) give it a huge offensive edge. Infernape is one of the two fire Pokémon in Sinnoh, the other being Rapidash, and so it is good to start with Chimchar even though you have no edge whatsoever in the first gym. Infernape has the second highest speed stat of ALL the starter Pokémon in ALL the regions, behind only Sceptile. Because of this, some people consider Infernape to be a stronger form of Blaziken, even though Blaziken has a higher attack stat then Infernape. Infernape is also the only Sinnoh starter to be affected by Sandstorm.
